Kromrey Middle School

Our family had a very good experience with Kromrey.

Overall, I would say that this school is a very good school. There are many advanced learning opportunities for students who excel, and the curriculum effectively teaches key concepts in science, math, social studies, and literacy. Most of the students are respectful, and it is a generally safe environment.

I have an 8th and 5th grader attending here. It's a beautiful environment to here in, both aesthetically and academically. The administration & teachers are quick to address any need or difficulty. I feel blessed to have this school for my children to learn in.

If your child excels at STEM, this is probably a great school for you. However, if your child is a good reader / writer, and you want them to continue in their development - RUN AWAY from this school - FAST! There are no accelerated services that meet this competency in the district (despite promises when you move here). The district is very closed to test scores and feedback from previous schools, and admin doesn't take the time to get to know students. The district uses outdated (and in some cases discredited) educational theory to guide its discussion on differential learning. If you're determined on coming - last word of advice - get everything in writing as stories will continuously change.
