Nature Hill Intermediate School

This is by far the best public school! The teachers are phenomenal, caring individuals that care about our children and their learning. The principle is a very well educated man, with a wonderful set of values which is why his staff is so awesome! We need teachers who care about education, teaching - who have compassion and who are kind and get set a great example for our children to follow. If this is what you are looking for, you have found it at Nature Hill. Improvements could be made to their special education procedures, follow through and communication of those procedures to the teachers and staff.

We moved to Nature Hill from a highly rated out of state school. My children love the staff, academics and after school activities. The PE class even offers snow shoeing in the winter on beautiful Nature Hill that is part of the school grounds. The music program is outstanding and the 5th grade band sounds like the 7th grade band in our old school. Foreign language is required starting in 5th grade which is awesome. Very involved and caring staff. Offers intervention for gifted children while still part of the classroom. We couldn't be happier with our decision to move to the Oconomowoc school district and specifically Nature Hill.

I have a daughter that is going into 7th grade this year at NHI, and she loves Nature hill's enviroment, staff, and other students. The principal is very dedicated to his job. She's sad that she only has two more years at nhi! She has been in Choir and Orchestra, and loves every teacher she's had so far!
