This was just our experience. Overall my daughter really likes the school outside of a couple teachers. Some of the issues she's dealt with shouldn't have happened if addressed properly from the beginning. With that being said just be careful if you decide to enroll your child in nxgl. If they bump heads with the teachers they are with them for 3 years and they will form close friendships with the other students. This makes it hard to want to leave the program not to mention the learning style is attractive to some students.

Very good overall. Mr.Fish is a good principal. The school does a good job with getting kids ahead. There are actually a lot of kids doing the high school Algebra I curriculum. 7.5/10

We have a 6th grader in Frank Lloyd Wright School. We have had a great experience so far. The teachers have been very responsive and approachable. I feel the education has been challenging for my child. He is learning at an advanced level and they continue to push him further at an appropriate pace. He has worked on special projects and involved in extra curricular activities. Both at the encouragement of the teachers and staff of the school. When we have concerns of any kind I feel that we as parents have been listened to and advised to help in our child's education. It is a large school with a small school feel.

I am so disappointed with this school and the West Allis School district. As you see the rating is a 3 (based on test scores) and it should be much lower! My daughter is a straight A student has very high test scores, due to all of the work I have done over the last 10 years at home with her, and will be transfering to a private school. She does not get homework (due to the policy of the school) and the environment in the classrooms and hallways is ridiculous. I warn all involved and concerned parents... do not send your children to this school. There is a culture of acceptance here, not a positive acceptance but a look the other way and just accept it, and it is sad.
