About Willowsford
Willowsford is a 4,000-acre community in Loudon County, VA, about 35 miles outside of Washington D.C. It is one of the most unique communities on the Eastern seaboard as it dedicates half of its acreage to nature conservancy and collective farming. Willowsford's vision is centered around "inspired living" and includes "an appreciation for the environment and land stewardship". Its facilities and team of full-time lifestyle directors work hard to make the vision a reality for Willowsford's residents.
The community has four villages: The Grange, The Grant, The Greens, and The Grove. The amenities are spread out among the villages and are available to all residents, no matter which village they reside in. Also, each village has a portion of its acreage allocated to Willowsford Farm, the community's collective farm. Schools in the area are Madison's Trust and Buffalo Trail elementary schools, Mercer and Brambleton middle schools, and John Champe High School. Brambleton High School is currently under construction.
