We have lived here two years and love this community! People look out for one another and are always helping and supporting their neighbors. We have many monthly gatherings at the clubhouse where people get to interact.
Many people have dogs and walk them throughout the community. The HOA is very supportive of people with dogs. There never was an ordinance created to address where dogs could do their business.
Sounds perfect, no dogs and no children. Soudns like what a 55+ community should be.
If you're looking to move into a dog friendly neighborhood this is the exact opposite of that. The HOA recently is attempting to implement a rule that you're dog may only relieve itself in your own yard and not in the common areas or anywhere else. If you are a dog owner you understand how ridiculous that is as dogs by nature mark territory. The HOA also likes to try and implement other rules worthy of more than eye-roll that makes this neighborhood pretty unfriendly for families trying to raise kids. I'd say the target market is more if you are retired and don't like animals so if you are anything else move elsewhere.
