Yellowtop Mountain Estates

This is the only log cabin gated community on a mountain with a high elevation view of the town below and of the other mountains. The sunsets were beautiful. We visited a friend. Best quiet nights sleep. We hiked and saw birds, turkeys and deer. We picked the best wild blueberries. Every house is private. The lots are at least one acre. We are thinking of buying a lot or two for investment and to build a vacation luxury log cabin home. The log cabins are huge with lots of windows and natural light. We took a nice ride on a golf cart and later for wheelers. Everybody has one. It’s a small town friendly on this gated community. Everybody waves to one another. There is a Facebook page which is helpful and sometimes covered dish social is announced on there. Then there are two websites. One private and one public. Such a fun and restful vacation. No rentals are allowed they’re. We stayed with friends. We looked at other log home gated communities. One was on a small mountain with dirt roads. Not beautiful but rustic. And a couple are not on a mountain. Yellowtop is special. It’s high up with million dollar views. Most people are from Florida and they are vacationers. Some people live there year round. Mostly they are second homes for vacations. I can’t wait to be invited back!
