The community has a tidy amenities park consisting of a swimming pool and two tennis courts. Children in Arbor Cove attend Henry County schools. The nearest elementary schools are Smith Barnes, Red Oak, and Stockbridge. They offer Kindergarten through 5th Grades. Stockbridge Middle (6th through 8th Grades) and Stockbridge High School are also nearby and are about 15 minutes away.

The Henry County Park District also offers a variety of youth and adult athletics as well as diverse range of classes such as 3D Animation For Youth, Dance, Karate, and Oil Painting. Nature-lovers will appreciate having Panola Mountain State Park nearby. It’s open year-round and features heavily wooded trails, an archery range, and ranger-led hikes up the mountain. The city of Stockbridge hosts a number of events annually. Bridgefest is a popular community festival in the fall built around family fun and live music. There’s also a car show, summer concert series, and a Veteran’s Day Parade. Shopping, movie theaters, and dozens of casual dining restaurants along the I-75 corridor are just a few minutes from Arbor Cove.
