Bay Oaks encourages its residents to spend time outdoors utilizing the community's amazing amenities. Built on Clear Lake, the community is full of water amenities, encouraging its residents to enjoy both the lake and access to the Gulf of Mexico. Residents can also find more amenities at the Clear Lake City Community Center, such as indoor and outdoor pools, a water park, fitness center, gymnasium, sporting courts and fields, meeting and party rooms, as well as a courtyard for small gatherings. Outside, canals can be used for boating and fishing, while bridges and boardwalks allow residents to walk or bike along miles of nature trails in the community's many nature preserves. Bay Oaks residents also have the opportunity to become members of the beautiful Country Club at the heart of the community. The golf course at the Club has exciting features like a pro shop, Bermuda grass and water hazards, and all 18 holes were designed by the famed Arthur Hills. Membership also comes with access to the tennis courts and swimming pool. Residents here are a part of the award-winning Clear Creek Independent School District. Bay Oaks students will attend one of the fastest-growing school districts in Texas at either Clear Lake City Elementary School, Clear Lake Intermediate School, or Clear Lake High School.
