Koreatown is amid a building boom. There are more than 30 new buildings proposed or under construction in this Central Los Angeles neighborhood that’s already the city’s densest. Most of those buildings are high-rises or towers meant to pack as many units or as much square footage in as possible. 

There is, however, still room for smaller projects. Developer Warren Choi purchased a 0.2-acre site at 314 N. Harvard Boulevard last year for $1.1 million. Now, he’s submitted plans to the city to build an 11-unit condo complex there. Plans call for a four-story building that will also include 23 parking spaces.

A single-family house built in 1901 is currently on the lot but it will be demolished to make way for the condos.
