5 Family-Friendly Activities Around Las Vegas for Easter
The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and everyone’s allergies are bothering them — Spring is officially here. That means that Easter is fast approaching as well. Maybe you usually go to church for Easter, or you host your family and have everyone over for dinner and games. Although these events are fun, perhaps you’re ready for a break this year, or you just want to try something new. Either way, if you feel like branching out this Easter, consider some of these local family-friendly Easter events found in the Las Vegas area.

Mt Charleston Brunch
Mt. Charleston, which is 30 minutes north of Las Vegas, is famous for its slopes, hiking, and colder weather. It’s a great place to bring family, which is why it’s a great place to visit for Easter. The Mt. Charleston Resort will have an Easter brunch from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. with lots of family activities, including meeting the Easter bunny and egg hunts. Their website suggests making reservations.

Hop & Shop
Hop & Shop is centrally located, at Town Square Las Vegas just south of The Strip, and it’s an event to consider if you’re looking for something to do the Saturday before Easter. At Hop & Shop, kids up to 10-years-old can participate in the egg hunts for free. The egg hunt times vary depending on the child’s age, and the full list of times is listed on the event website.

Easter Eggstravaganza
The Silverton Casino and Hotel is having a vast Easter Extravaganza for any folks looking for fun in the southern part of town, near Silverado Ranch. This celebration will include something for everyone: a craft show, over 70 local vendors and artists being showcased, an Easter egg hunt, an opportunity to hang out with the Easter bunny, a chance to win a bunch of prizes, free games, gift bags, and more. This event is free to get in and goes from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Spring Spectacular
Ethel M Chocolates in the city of Henderson will be having its Spring Spectacular on both Saturday, March 31 and Sunday, April 1. This event will have a bouncy house, face painting, balloon artists, and a petting zoo for guests to enjoy. The event will, of course, also have a ton of Easter-themed Ethel M Chocolates for sale.
Spring Carnival & Hippity-Hop Egg Hunt
Also in Henderson on Saturday, March 31, this carnival will take place at Whitney Ranch Recreation Center and will include carnival games, refreshments, and a bouncy house for the little ones. There will also be a variety of egg hunts for the kids, split up by ages. This event is $3 if you buy tickets in advance and $5 the day of.
