$500M Fort Worth Community, Ventana, Breaks Ground and Begins First Phase
Dallas-based PMB Capital is breaking ground this month and launching the first phase of Ventana, its $500 million master-planned community on the west side of Fort Worth near Benbrook Lake. In addition to constructing model homes, this initial phase will include building the development’s first 185 houses.
Affordability is a focus of Ventana. With prices ranging from the upper $200,000s to the mid $400,000s, a number of floorplans will be available below the average cost of new homes in the North Texas region.
In addition to miles of walking and running trails and a lush event lawn, community amenities will ultimately include a 2,400-square-foot open-air pavilion with a resort-style pool, outdoor grills, and family dining areas.
Served by the Benbrook school district, Ventana is easily accessible to Westpark Elementary School and Benbrook Middle-High School.
In the first wave of new single-family homes, David Weekley Homes and CalAtlantic Homes will build on 50-foot lots, and Dunhill Homes will build on 60-foot lots. Though the PMB plan calls for nearly 1,500 home sites at build-out, it has the potential to expand.
Located on Chapin School Road between I-20 and U.S. Highway 377, Ventana also boasts views of the city’s skyline along with Benbrook Lake vistas.
