Here are eight of the best healthy restaurants in Las Vegas.

Purple Potato - Henderson

Sometimes eating healthy can be bland, but Purple Potato is anything but. According to Vegas Eater, this establishment started out as a pop-up idea that eventually turned into a full-fledged restaurant after gaining popularity. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, featuring gluten-free and vegan items like salads, signature bowls, and wraps, as well as porridge and smoothies, which all cost less than $10. Located in Henderson, Purple Potato makes it easy to eat healthy as they have an app, online ordering system, and orders can also be placed through Postmates. 

Rachel’s Kitchen - Centennial Hills

Rachel’s Kitchen has a variety of locations throughout the Vegas Valley including Centennial Hills, HendersonSummerlin, Paradise, and Downtown. This casual spot has a substantial menu offering breakfast (which is served all day), lunch, and dinner. The menu features a variety of healthy options such as Protein Lover’s Scramble, the arugula pear salad, veggie burgers, tuna wraps, and the restaurant’s gourmet Rachel’s chicken salad sandwich. Fresh squeezed juices and smoothies with optional protein powder are also available on the menu.

SkinnyFATS - Summerlin

At SkinnyFATS, you decide whether you want to eat healthy or not. Half of their menu is healthy, while the other half is labeled “happy” for items that are full of flavor. So you could go for the healthy 124-calorie zucchini noodles or opt for the order of fried pickles, it’s totally up to you. All of the healthy items are under 600 calories and include options like the Cranburkey, a turkey burger with cranberry, arugula, tomato, and onion on a wheat bun or the Turnip Taco, which has filet mignon, pico de gallo, jicama, topped with habanero lime crema on a wheat tortilla. SkinnyFATS has locations all over Las Vegas including Summerlin, Centennial Hills, Rhodes Ranch, Henderson, and near The Strip, so you can always grab a quick, healthy bite.

Simply Pure Vegan Cafe - Downtown

Simply Pure in Downtown Container Park is popular among the vegan crowd, especially among vegan celebrities like Mya, Usher, and Jermaine Dupri, which you can see on the restaurant’s Instagram account. Described as a “dope a** plant-based restaurant” per their Instagram profile, Simply Pure Vegan Cafe was created by the mastermind, Chef Stacey Dougan. Chef Dougan explains in Vegas Seven how former President Bill Clinton paid a visit to her restaurant back in 2016 and that ultimately helped put her establishment on the map. Simply Pure has a creative and unique menu that includes vegan items like Mama Mia Lasagna, Jicama Chili Cheese Fries, and Coconut Kale Salad. 

VegeNation - Downtown

VegeNation is a community-based restaurant that serves 100 percent plant-based street food. Not only does this restaurant serve the usual breakfast, lunch, and dinner options but they also offer Sunday brunch as well as cocktail beverages and dessert items. Some menu items worth sampling are their buffalo cauliflower wings, eggplant stacks, chicken pot pie gnocchi, and chocolate tacos. VegeNation has two locations, one in Downtown and one in Henderson.

The Protein Source - Spring Valley

Other location: Rhodes Ranch

The Protein Source has two locations in the southwest part of Vegas, off the 215 and Flamingo and the other off the 215 and Durango. They’re strategically located next to popular gyms, which attracts a fitness-driven crowd. The Protein Source is a great spot to get healthy food before or after a workout, or just when you want to eat clean. Some of their popular menu items include the Jacked Burrito, Protein Waffle Towers, Kale Berry Bomb salad, and the Bulk-up Bison Wrap.

VeggiEat Xpress - Henderson

VeggiEat Xpress, located in Henderson on Stephanie Street, serves healthy versions of Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. As their Instagram explains, not only is their food healthy, but it’s also cruelty-free and environmentally friendly. Their menu was recently revamped and features new items like vegan sushi, vegetable pho soup, and vegan walnut shrimp and broccoli.

Protein House - Henderson

Protein House is another popular restaurant that locals love. The restaurant is owned and operated by professional bodybuilders Larissa Reis and Andrew Bick, so it’s safe to say that this place is legit. If you visit Protein House in Henderson, sample the protein pancakes, Loaded Oatmeal, or the Muscle Builder Burger. As an added bonus, Protein House also offers a meal prepping service to help guests reach their fitness goals.
