The development partnership Winona Residences officially opened sales on the nine-unit condo building at 1470 W Winona Street on the edge of Chicago's Andersonville and Uptown neighborhoods. Aptly, they're calling it TheWin.

Each unit features at least two bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as features such as hardwood floors, custom cabinetry, Grohe and Toto fixtures, and heated bathroom floors. The three top-floor units come with their own rooftop spaces while the three ground-level units are duplexes that go into the basement. Each unit includes a 190 square-foot terrace and an indoor parking space.

Units will range from a 1,272 square-foot two-bedroom asking $475,000 to a 2,378 square-foot three-bedroom going for $700,000. Units are expected to be ready for move-in by June.

If the name TheWin sounds familiar, it might be because another residential project in nearby Winnetka just took on the name The Winn. Guessing that the lack of an additional letter should be enough to differentiate them.
