The 280,588-square-foot former Sears Administration Building is five stories. The former Allstate headquarters features 324,147 square feet, 11 stories, and a three-story parking garage. The campus also includes a vacant lot ready for development.

Many other developments have been popping up in the area. Homan Square has become home to new training facilities for the Bulls and Blackhawks, the Lagunitas Brewing Company Chicago Brewery Taproom, and more, according to the release.

Vice president of NRC Realty & Capital Advisors sees great promise in the development of the area.

“Given our size, strength of our workforce, and extensive public transportation system, the Chicago area is poised for growth and is a real contender for the new Amazon headquarters,” he said in the release.
