A nine-story condo project is planned in between Houston neighborhoods River Oaks and Montrose, according to the Houston Business Journal. The developer, Pelican Builders, just closed on the property where the project will rise.

Close to the luxurious River Oaks neighborhood, where notable Houstonians occupy sprawling, multi-million-dollar estates, The Revere is designed with the area’s wealthy empty-nesters in mind. The building will have 33 units ranging in size from 2,677 to 3,867 square feet and will be priced between $1.6 and $2.9 million.

Units boast high ceilings and luxe finishes and appliances, as well as large balconies with ceiling fans and grill set-ups. Houston architecture firm Kirksey gave the building its contemporary-classic look.

Pelican Buildings is behind another River Oaks condo development, the 17-story, mixed-use Wilshire. The group has sold more than 80 percent of the 96 units and plans to open it this summer. Units there start a little lower in the $700,000s range.
