Home construction company CalAtlantic home has officially announced its grand opening of Travata, its new collection of senior residences in Cypress Village. The new development is the first-ever gated community in Irvine that’s exclusively geared towards individuals who are 55 and older

Travata in Cypress Village features a mixture of single-family and coach-style (house over the garage) attached and detached townhomes, showcasing a variety of exterior architecture such as Santa Barbara, Monterey, Spanish Heritage, Rancho Adobe, and Italianate. The master plan consists of three neighborhoods, including Aldea, Castillo, and Palencia. Residences range from 1,417 to 2,567 square feet and the variety of floorplans consist of one- to three-bedrooms. Residents will enjoy amenities such as open interiors, gourmet-style kitchens, owner’s suites, private backyards and patios, and even an option of adding a California room, den, or loft.

Travata homeowners will also have the opportunity to access communal resort-style amenities including a clubhouse, a saltwater pool and spa, fireplace lounge space, outdoor events, a catering kitchen, and even a fitness center for group workouts and one-on-one personal training. Residents can also enjoy the private dog park and various courts for pickleball and bocce ball.

Home prices for the age-selective community start in the high $600,000s for Aldea, high $800,000s for Castillo, and the low $1,000,000s for Palencia.
