In the second quarter of 2018, Austin will welcome 41 additional lakeside homes to the Rough Hollow Community, according to Builder Online.

An Austin-based development firm, Legacy Communities creates resort-style master plan projects throughout the Austin metropolitan area, ranging from senior villages to multi-family residential spaces. One of Legacy’s current projects involves the final phase of Rough Hollow Lakeway, a master-planned community bordering Lake Travis, just 25 minutes away from Downtown Austin. This last Rough Hollow neighborhood, called Westside Landing, will begin sales in the latter half of 2018.

Westside Landing features easy access to Lake Travis, with hike and bike trails leading directly from the residential areas to the lakefront. The development calls itself a “lifestyle community,” emphasizing the importance of amenities and proximity to key attractions. Westside Landing residents can enjoy Rough Hollow’s range of special features, like a community water park with splash pads, a lazy river, and an adult pool with a swim-up bar, the Rough Hollow Yacht Club and Marina, and an all-season pavilion with open-air markets and curated events for residents.

The homes at Westside Landing will be calibrated for “peak performance,” including sustainable fixtures, green construction materials and processes, and solar energy options for net-zero capability. All Westside floor plans include three bedrooms and 3.5 baths, drawing aesthetic inspiration from classic farmhouses. Residents have the option to add to their property with backyard “casitas,” perfect for home offices, guest suites, or even “man caves.”

Homes at Westside Landing will begin in the mid $600,000s, with higher price points for optional upgrades like casitas. Westside Landing is located in the town of Lakeway, Texas, making it part of the Lake Travis Independent School District, which earned a “Superior Achievement” rating from the Texas School Finance Accountability Program.
