The Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex is so big and sprawling that it can seem hard to get away from the city. But a luxury mansion located about 30 miles west of Downtown Fort Worth in Aledo provides that sense of an urban escape. Now that mansion up for auction, according to the Dallas Business Journal

New York-based Concierge Auctions is offering the estate, working with Sotheby’s International Realty. It is the first time that the 19,265-square-foot property on 113 acres is being offered for sale.

"This property is going straight to the auction block in a mutual agreement between the sellers and us," said Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s sales manager Rob McWhirter to the Dallas Business Journal. "We sold a property at auction a couple of months ago and it went well. It sold near list price and the homeowners were very happy."

The owners of the home have already purchased and moved into another property in North Texas. They decided it was time to sell the property at 107 Nueces Trail in Aledo.

"The person we are working with from Concierge Auctions says he's gotten more interest on this house than any other property he's worked on in the past," McWhirter said in the Dallas Business Journal.

The house has many luxury features, including gorgeous views of the Texas countryside; two gourmet kitchens, including one that can serve hundreds of people; two master suites with an adjoining “snoring room”; a large attached bathroom that has a steam shower and a hair washing station; and five bedrooms with walk-in closets and attached bathrooms.

The home also has a resort-style saltwater pool underneath the house and a ground-level spa, nail salon, and massage station. It also features a custom home theater, a 1000-bottle wine room, a billiard area, and a great room that has double fireplaces and a Lonesome Dove-themed copper-topped bar and sink.
