A $2.5-million lobby and its $500,000 staircase set the tone for contemporary luxury at The Ritz-Carlton Residences Miami Beach, according to The Washington Post.

The vast Miami Beach residences include 111 condos and 15 villas set upon 7.5 acres of space. Among the more unusual amenities is an art studio stocked with paint and supplies and the option for instructor-led classes. A meditation garden, yoga studio, spa, screening room, and clubroom comprise more indulgent perks for residents.

Water-focused amenities are another notable aspect of the development. A captained day yacht and 36 private boat docks along the marina are available to residents. The building’s enormous, half-acre rooftop infinity pool is lined with private cabanas decked out in modern furnishings and decor; a rooftop bar and poolside service are on-site as well. Residents can enjoy The Ritz-Carlton concierge services on the beach below, while floor-to-ceiling windows reveal water views from the lobby and within individual units.

The residences were designed by the award-winning architecture firm Stantec in collaboration with Italian architect Piero Lissoni, whose resume includes partnerships with iconic design groups Kartell and Cassina. Lissoni is known for his minimalistic style, which informs the aesthetic of each unit, covering 2,000 to more than 10,000 square feet.

Prices for the units range from $2 all the way up to $40 million.
