Miramesa is planning to complete a new recreation center and its final section of homes in 2018, according to Community Impact Newspaper. About 45 minutes from downtown Houston, Miramesa is located within the master-planned community of Canyon Lakes West. 

The new recreation facility will be available to members of the Miramesa, Stone Gate, and Canyon Lakes West communities. Set to open in January 2018, the amenity complex will feature a junior Olympic pool, workout center, splash park, and half-court basketball.

Developer Land Tejas also plans to complete Miramesa’s last two residential areas before the end of 2018, including houses from Lennar Homes, Westin Homes, and CalAtlantic Homes.

“There’s a lot of great development in the Cypress area,” says Tim Johnson, director of community sales and marketing for Land Tejas. “We want to offer homes and communities that have a good lifestyle that people can still afford.”
