Sendera Ranch in Fort Worth Begins Next Phase as Homebuyers Line Up
Sendera Ranch — one of the largest master-planned communities in Dallas-Fort Worth — just kicked off Phase 12 and, according to Jason Whitfill, the development’s new home consultant, homebuyers are waiting to purchase one of the 110 Lennar home sites. Prices range from $200,000 to $360,000, and 18 floorplans vary from 1,300 to 3,600 square feet.

Aside from design quality, open concept living space and large kitchens with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, buyers are drawn to the amenities that have earned Sendera the Grand Award Winning Community designation three times from the Fort Worth Builders Association.
Located in Alliance Corridor, Sendera is in the northern Denton County portion of Fort Worth, which offers significantly lower property taxes than Tarrant County. The community is not only served by the highly-acclaimed Northwest Independent School District, but Sendera contains two elementary schools and one middle school onsite as well as a daycare center.
Recreational amenities run the gamut from three pools, a splash park, baseball field, basketball court, tennis court, and soccer field to a 200-acre greenbelt with a park, pond, playground, picnic area, and a paved hiking and biking trail that stretches for miles.
When the 3,000-acre community opened 13 years ago, 10 builders were onboard to collectively construct 10,000 new homes. However, the economic downturn in 2006 brought homebuilding to a screeching halt and created a mass exit of builders. Lennar Homes weathered the recession and now owns all remaining lots.
To date, between 3,500 and 4,000 homes have been built in Sendera. Up to Phase 17 is already mapped out, and build-out is expected at Phase 25.
From all indications, new homes in the current Phase 12 are expected to sell quickly, but Phase 13 is slated to begin in the last quarter of this year.
