AZ Big Media is reporting on a land purchase of 29 acres from homebuilders Shea Homes to develop in Peoria’s Aloravita community, joining other new home construction from Pulte and Taylor Morrison.

The area at 75th Avenue and Jomax Road, near the Rock Springs and Terramar neighborhoods, was chosen for its unique topography and the area’s “ thriving employment, schools, and transportation corridor,” according to David Garcia, Shea Homes Arizona Vice President of Land Acquisition and Development.

Current plans call for 124 single-family homes with sizes ranging from 1,967 to 3,600 square feet. Though specific plans are not yet available, residences will be available for purchase in early 2019.

If Aloravita is like their other under-construction developments (Evolve, Latitude, and Reserves at Cantilena), expect prices to be between the low $400,000s and high $600,000s.
