Curbed Chicago spotted units in a new condo development on the border of Uptown and Andersonville on the multiple listing service (MLS) last week. Located on a quiet stretch at 1470 W. Winona St., the condos in the nine-unit building that have hit the MLS are starting at $599,900.

Three months ago, a two-bedroom unit in the contemporary building hit the MLS seeking $475,000, and it’s currently under contract. The currently available units include a two-bedroom, two-bathroom, 1,500-square-foot unit; a $699,900 three-bedroom, two-and-one-half-bathroom unit; and 2,300-square-foot unit. Monthly association fees are $200 or less.

Named The Win, the building’s units boasts 10-foot ceilings, open floor plans, and large doors opening on a private, south-facing terrace. High-end finishes include white oak floors with a custom stain, Bosch appliances, quartz countertops, Grohe and Toto fixtures, LED lighting, heated bathroom floors, and Trex decking. Units also include custom cabinetry, custom closets, and advanced soundproofing.

Final renderings or images are not yet available, although floor plans have been finalized for each unit.

According to an earlier report by DNA Info, the building replaced a 100-year-old mansion that was nicknamed “the compound” because of its nine-foot brick wall surrounding the property. The single-family home was reportedly in severe disrepair and not salvageable.
