When you live in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, you learn that it’s all about where you live—especially if you travel often. The DFW area has two main airports: The Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, located in between Dallas and Fort Worth, and Dallas Love Field, a smaller airport that’s home to Texas favorite Southwest Airlines. Taxis, rideshare services, and parking can become expensive when you live further away from the DFW airports.

These neighborhoods are not only close to DFW airports, they’re also great places to live and become part of the community.

While those who live in Oak Lawn proper are just a 13-minute drive to Love Field, you’ll want to live on the west side of the neighborhood past the Dallas North Tollway to be less than a 10-minute drive away. There are other reasons to live in Oak Lawn too.
