Stonewall Tell Elementary School

I would not send my dog to SWTE under the direction of the current administration.

Terrible. The principal at this school needs to be removed. He does not care about the kids. He just cares about meeting and exceeding numbers so he can get a promotion. His assistant principal seems as if she is much more qualified than he is, as she was able to resolve an issue I had for three weeks in one day. Hammonds wasn't able to solve my issue nor did he even attempt to help. When his vice principal was informed of the issue, it was rectified that very same day. Later, my child was "allegedly" assaulted by a member of the exceptional services team at this school. The principal became hostile toward me when I asked about the status of the investigation. Then the investigation was closed by the school, however, my child was never interviewed so how could that be? FYI The "educator" in question is still employed by the school (due to the investigation being closed with no wrong doing). It is now being investigated by DFCS.

This school is horrible. I wish I never enrolled my child

I absolutely love STES! My son has been blessed with wonderful teachers that pushed him to remove his self-doubt and succeed. He is meeting and exceeding goals and has become an outstanding reader! I am pleased that this is our neighborhood school!
