The fine arts program is wonderful, especially the Choir department. We are districted for a different middle school in the county, and my child auditioned specifically for the fine arts program. It was a great decision. Be prepared to over-communicate with the teachers if your child has special needs though, as our experiences with accomodations has not been great. Ultimately, we were able to work it out though.
Both children had great experiences. One was very prepared for Rockdale Magnet. The other is excelling at a more traditional high school.
