Neighborhoods.com Area Review Guidelines

When it comes to neighborhoods, don’t just take our word for it. The best reviews are the ones that come from you. Our website was built with you in mind and we want to know what tips, comments, and insights you’d like to share with others. We welcome reviews for all the neighborhoods on our site, but we do moderate them to ensure that our website remains a safe and welcoming place for everyone who uses it. Please look over the tips below before posting to help ensure that your reviews follow our guidelines.

Share Personal Experiences Only: We welcome reviews from residents as well as those who have visited the neighborhood in person.

Be Accurate and Useful: Reviews should be factually correct and include honest opinions. A good rule of thumb is to ask yourself, "is this information useful to someone considering living here?"

Relevant Neighborhood Comments Only: No testimonials about your real estate agent, salesperson, builder, or anything unrelated to the specific community in question.

Inappropriate Content Will Not Be Tolerated: No vulgarity, threats, harassment, lewdness, or hate speech towards any group as well as anything that violates the spirit of the Fair Housing Act will be accepted.

No Conflicts of Interest: No reviews from builders, homeowners associations ("HOAs"), or neighborhood-affiliated groups will be accepted.

No Personal Disputes: Reviews are not a place to discuss disputes with the builder, neighbors, or an HOA.

No Promotional Content: No third-party links, promotional messages, or reviews with the intention of commercial gain.

One Neighborhood Review Per Person: Multiple reviews of one neighborhood will not be accepted.

No Private Information: Do not share private information such as street addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses. Do not impersonate someone else or purposefully misrepresent yourself.

Internal Review: We review all submissions and reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove any post at any time and without notice.

Please Note: When you post a review of a community you are giving Neighborhoods.com permission to use your content.
