Friday nights in TCU-Westcliff are a time to celebrate. From September to January, football reigns supreme and since games are on Saturdays, Friday is the night everyone goes out to get pumped up for the big game. There are many pubs and sports bars where students and residents alike get together. There are some taverns and bars along South Hulen Street. South University Drive and West Berry Street is where the college crowds congregate.

Sundays are when residents go for picnics in any one of the areas many green spaces or parks. The Fort Worth Zoo is located northwest of TCU and is open for families to come in and take in the wildlife from around the world. The kids will also greatly enjoy Log Cabin Village, a living museum that reenacts pioneer life in Texas. Art lovers also have quick access to Fort Worth Contemporary Art Museum and other galleries in TCU-West Cliff.
