My son has been in this school since pre K, now in middle school. Grown to be an outstanding and excellent person with good conduct and integrity. Soaring to greatness academically and socially. The students, the teachers and staff are very thoughtful and accommodating. A place that feels like a second home to him.No discrimination in gender, race, ethnicity, financial background etc. An excellent school to be in. I couldn't be happier. My son is very comfortable in this school. BRAVO WILSON!!!!

I wanted so much to love this school, but after a few months, I'm already considering pulling my son out. The front office can seem uninspired, and attendance/tardiness is super strict, to where I feel we can't stay home when we are sick. My main complaint, however, is their expectations in the classroom. "Correct" behavior is defined fairly narrowly, meaning they want you to fit a mold. There is not much room for error outside of this, at least in the classroom my child is participating in. Again, lovely from the outside, not so great under the surface. Really depends on your teacher, too!

This is not true montessori. There is only one teacher per classroom, hardly any work gets completed, and there is constant testing. We tried multiple teachers and the results were the same. Nothing was being taught. You're expected as a parent to do it all at home. And the bullying. Every boy was a bully in Lower El. and the teachers can't do anything about it because it's public school. There's little oversight on the teachers and they can fail at teaching your child with no recourse. The positives at the school are the emphasis on equality and acceptance, but that is mostly driven by the PTA parents, who are what hold this school together.

The principal is terrible. She is the worst person and leader I have ever met. Ineffective and she bullies good teachers.
