Valley Ridge Elementary School

My daughter went here for kindergarten and first grade she had Mrs. Walker for both. She was the best teacher and we love and miss the school very much. Mrs. Walker and most of the teachers are very kind and compassionate. We wish she could have stayed here. It is a GREAT school!

My step daughter and daughter have both attended here. Great teachers, both caring and involved. After school care is engaging and the kids loved it. Proud to have had kids attend here.

I love this school. Best teachers and staff, I could not ask for anything better.

A few years ago I would have rated this school very highly, sadly the administration and school counselor have failed my youngest child over and over. They refuse to adress bullying and disrespectful, disruptive behavior year after year by the exact same students. Even the many of the teachers are at their wits end bc of the complete lack of support. The school counselor is horrible and does nothing to help with these situations. She is complete lip service. She promised me that she would help my child by implementing one on one meetings with him as well as mentoring and a lunch buddy. This she assured me of way back in November of 2014. Here we are in Jan and he has not seen or heard a word from her. I called to follow up with her and she never returned my call. Finally, I emailed her and the principle and the response I got from her is that she has been too busy with off site meetings and and said the rest was his classroom teachers fault! Absolutely pathetic! I cannot wait until my child is out of this school!
