The Windrose Tower plans to be the address you’ll want to call home if you work in Plano’s Legacy West. Construction has finally begun on the 27-story condominium tower. According to the Dallas Morning News, the building will take about two years to complete, but about 80 to 90 percent of the units are already reserved.

The property is in an ideal location, especially for those who will be working at the many corporate headquarters in Legacy West. Located on Headquarters Drive at Dallas North Tollway, Windrose Tower will offer easy access to Toyota North America’s new facility, as well as to Liberty Mutual and JP Morgan Chase. 

Priced at more than $1 million each, the units at Windrose Tower are designed for a luxury standard of living. According to the development group constructing the high rise, most of the buyers so far have been empty nesters. This is an address welcoming affluent households who want upscale homes that feel more like a resort.

The condo units are designed by GDA Architects and range from 1,850 square feet to 11,000 square feet. Two half-floor penthouse units have already been sold. 

The condo tower is the crown capping the development at Legacy West, which itself has been a boon for the region In addition to the corporate centers, the first shops and restaurants are already opening at Legacy West as well.

"We started Legacy West 40 months ago," said project master developer Fehmi Karahan in the Dallas Morning News. "Windrose Tower is the last piece — a very important piece. 

Windrose Tower is the first luxury condo tower in Plano and represents new possibilities for the future of the region.

As previously reported, the new condos will include gourmet kitchens with quartz countertops and European cabinetry, floor-to-ceiling windows, and outdoor spaces that include balconies with built-in fireplaces and city views. Owners also enjoy luxury amenities such as concierge service, a resort-style pool with outdoor kitchens, and pet-friendly features like a park and grooming spa.
