The Pullman Historic District is a favorite for those moving into the neighborhood, where you'll find ornate homes and streets that make you feel you've walked decades into the past. Several Metra train stations can be found on the western border of the neighborhood for those who commute to the Loop.

There are a few bars in the area if you're looking to unwind with a drink, but Friday nights spent in Pullman are usually low-key. The Historic Pullman Foundation offers various events throughout the year including the popular candlelight tour of historic Pullman houses decorated for the holidays.

Golfers will enjoy Pullman's location next to a world-class course, Harborside International Golf Center. In the fall, the neighborhood holds the annual Historic Pullman House Tour where residents open their doors to anyone interested in having a look inside some of the neighborhood's oldest yet most beautiful structures, all while enjoying live music and great food.
