Pullman is notable for its unique and historic architecture, with the oldest houses still standing dating back to the 1890s. Since the 1990s, there's been a huge push to restore these homes, meaning most not only come with an unforgettable past but also the amenities for modern comfort. The Pullman Historic District is a favorite for those moving into the neighborhood, where you'll find ornate homes and streets that make you feel you've walked decades into the past. Several Metra train stations can be found on the western border of the neighborhood for those who commute to the Loop.
