As it turns out, the definition of a loft is fairly open-ended. While some think of a loft as a space within a building that wasn’t originally meant for homebuyers, others simply think of them as open-concept condos with higher ceilings. For the most part, residents who enjoy living in lofts seek out a lock-and-leave lifestyle that doesn’t require a lot of maintenance. Luckily, Las Vegas has plenty of options for homebuyers who want to live in lofts.

Here are several Las Vegas neighborhoods where it’s easy to find lofts that are both open-concept and low-maintenance.

Downtown

Homes in Downtown Las Vegas

With a walk score of 75, Downtown Las Vegas is among the most walkable neighborhoods in the city. Because of its urban-meets-hometown vibe, Downtown is also a great place to find open-concept lofts. The Ogden, a condominium high-rise, offers two- to four-bedroom units priced from the high $300s. These residences feature large terraces, floor-to-ceiling windows, and other luxury finishes. Another high rise in the area is Juhl, a sleek residential condo community that features lofts with spacious kitchen islands, private outdoor terraces, and  optional walls for flexible floorplans.

Meanwhile, Urban Lofts Townhomes may not be a high-rise, but the building’s modern design integrates wide-open spaces which is a unique offering when compared to other developments in the area.

Henderson

Henderson covers a large area, so it’s no surprise that the lofts here are spread out among smaller neighborhoods, each with a different vibe. In Green Valley Ranch, the neighborhood known for its shopping, dining, and easy access to community resources, the Condominiums at The District are notoriously difficult to get a hold of. Not only are they one of the only developments in this area of town with lofts above a shopping complex, but they’re also the only condominiums of their kind. Occasionally, owners will sell them off, and they usually sell starting in the high $300s.

If you’re really looking for luxury living, Vu by Christopher Homes in MacDonald Highlands ranges from the low $800s to over $1 million. Although these two- and three-bedroom homes have smaller square footage for their price range, features like waterfall-edge kitchen islands, high-end appliances, and fireplaces make them a luxe option for homebuyers with a bigger spending budget.

Summerlin

Right now, construction is booming in Summerlin. Developers are building more homes with smaller square footage, luxurious features, and open-concept floorplans.

Mira Villa by Toll Brothers is a resort-style community surrounded by golf courses. With spacious terraces, gourmet kitchens, private garage parking, and an enviable clubhouse, Mira Villa is priced in the high $500s and square footage ranges from 2,052 to 3,724 square feet. Meanwhile, Affinity ranges from the low $200s to the high $400s and also conveys a modern aesthetic with high ceilings, outdoor patios, and modern kitchens. The complex itself is desert landscaped and features a resort-style pool and clubhouse.
